Tess MacQueen, MS, PA-C
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Tess MacQueen, MS, PA-C, Dermatology Diplomate Fellow
Dermatology Diplomate Fellow
I am a dedicated, board certified PA with a passion for skin health and primary care. Having completed the SDPA dermatology diplomate fellowship program, I bring a wealth of knowledge about skin care to our practice. I believe in the power of listening to patients and tailoring treatment plans that fit their unique needs. I co-founded Pine Point Medical with the intention of serving patients regardless of insurance or location. They can easily fit in a telemedicine appointment with me without needing to find transportation, take time off from work, or worry about childcare. I also see patients in our Lansing office as well. Outside of our clinic, I enjoy engaging in global health initiatives, having volunteered in underserved communities in the rainforests of Peru and Belize. I am a firm advocate for accessible healthcare, striving to make a difference in the lives of our patients every day.

Douglas MacQueen, MD, MS
PHYSICIAN
Douglas MacQueen, MD, MS, FIDSA
I saw the need for a healthcare entity that chose medicine over revenue; one that incorporated the expertise of the MD, RN, NP, or PA, and was able to implement change in real time. We opened our office in 2019 to offer people an alternative to corporate medicine.
I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to adult primary care, I provide expertise in diagnosis and treatment of all types of infections from minor to complex. This includes infections spread by ticks and mosquitos, acquired locally or while travelling, HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Tuberculosis, STI, C. diff, urinary tract infection, diabetes related infections, infections of bones and joints, brains, and hearts. Please schedule an appointment if you have an infection, would like to prevent one, or are concerned you have one. Many of these evaluations can be done by telemedicine if you are not in the Lansing area or if travel is difficult.
Melissa Pinckney, NP
NURSE PRACTITIONER
Melissa Pinckney, NP
I am a board certified nurse practitioner who graduated with my Master of Science degree in adult primary care from Keuka College in 2017. I currently see patients at Pine Point Medical in addition to working in hospital medicine at Cayuga Medical Center.
Before working as a nurse practitioner, I worked for nearly twenty years as an emergency medicine and ciritcal care registered nurse (RN).
My time working in the hospital has shown me how important annual wellness and preventive visits are. I am dedicated to helping patients create realistic treatment plans that work for them. I take time to get to know the whole person and value the relationships that are created between a patient and their primary care provider.
I spend my free time staying up to date on medical education and volunteering abroad. I have spent time volunteering in Peru and the Dominican Republic and plan to continue traveling to places in need.
