Transforming Lives Through Global Medical Care

Global health has taken our Pine Point Medical team across the world. We’ve cared for patients in the depths of the Amazon rainforest in Peru, supported communities in the tropics of Belize, served families in the Dominican Republic, and most recently extended our care to communities in Ecuador.

Each destination has given us the chance to share medical expertise, deliver essential supplies, and connect with people who often have little access to healthcare. These experiences have shaped us as providers and strengthened us as a team. They remind us that no matter where we go, the need for compassionate care is universal.

Caring Beyond Borders: Peru, Belize, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador

At Pine Point Medical, our dedication to health doesn’t stop at home. Our team has traveled to the Amazon in Peru, the tropics of Belize, rural communities in the Dominican Republic, and most recently, Ecuador to provide care where it’s needed most. Reaching these villages by bus and boat, we diagnosed and treated conditions like scabies, broken bones, rashes, back pain, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Local families brought us X-rays for second opinions and medications for review, trusting our expertise. We carried supplies from the U.S., knowing even small items can make a big impact. Toothbrushes, soap, and sunglasses proved to be some of the most valuable. Every team member played a role, including non-medical volunteers who stepped in to support patients and families in meaningful ways.

These experiences not only change lives abroad but also strengthen our own team. They create lasting bonds, deepen our perspective, and continue to fuel our passion for medicine, service, and compassionate care across borders.

Our Global Impact

When We Serve Side By Side, Compassion Multiplies

Our commitment to global health doesn’t just happen abroad, it starts right here at home. Our Pine Point Medical team recently volunteered with International Medical Relief (IMR) in Colorado, helping pack crucial supplies for international missions.

Together with our families, we sorted and prepared donated items like sunglasses, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toiletries, and medications. Each bag we packed will travel across the world to support underserved communities.

This experience not only brought our team closer but also gave our children and spouses a chance to serve alongside us. It reminded us that caring for others is a responsibility we can share with the next generation.

What’s Next?

Our last global adventure took place in the Spring of 2026 when we took a medical mission trip to Ecuador! Stay tuned, because there are many more to come. We look forward to continuing our efforts abroad and bringing hope and care to communities in need!
